No. Records are non-promotional by design. Marketing language, advertising, testimonials, and calls to action are not permitted.


What kind of information can be included in a record?
Factual public information such as names, roles, locations, published works, media appearances, organizations, and official public links.


What information is not allowed?
Private information, confidential data, sensitive personal identifiers, opinions, promotional claims, or unsubstantiated assertions are not permitted.


Why is this separate from a personal website or social media?
This Registry exists as a neutral reference point. Personal websites and social platforms change, promote, and rank content. Public Record Registry does not.


Who should use Public Record Registry?

Who does not need this Registry?

How often can records be updated?
Records are updated through append-only entries. Past entries are preserved and not rewritten.

The record holder may add a dated update to reflect changes or replace expired links.


Can someone challenge a record?
Yes. Challenges may be submitted under the Challenge Policy and are reviewed according to published procedures.


Is this connected to any government agency?
No. Public Record Registry is independent and non-governmental.


Is my data sold or shared?
No. The Registry does not sell data or run advertising.


Does Public Record Registry guarantee AI systems will use this data?
No. The Registry provides a clear reference point. How third-party systems use public information is outside the Registry’s control.
